About Us

With a reputation as one of the friendliest clubs in the area, Pyestock Mixed Bowls Club is a hidden gem, set in the lovely rural grounds of Cody Sports & Social Club. Everyone is welcome regardless of age gender or ability.

Coaching is available by registered coaches for new bowlers, with equipment to introduce you to the wonderful game of bowls. We run an annual Open day where everyone is introduced to the ‘Pyestock Experience’. Our aim is to let everyone be part of our teams very quickly regardless of ability.

There is the opportunity to play in County games, district leagues for Ladies, Men, Mixed, weekend friendlies and afternoon ‘rollups.’ There are several one day club ‘Cup’ competitions. Enter our Club competitions and before you know it, you could see your name up on the honours board as a winner.

Pyestock Bowls out of season weekly club night enables members to keep in contact over a pint or a coffee. With year round facilities of darts, snooker, pool, and special events Cody Sports & Social club with its bar and two function rooms that Pyestock Bowls Club use for skittle nights, social events and the annual presentation dinner,  is the perfect choice for a change of club or a new hobby.
