The Club is a private members club, operating for the benefit of the members where membership entitles you to access to the clubhouse, including the members bar, regular social events and sporting facilities.

The Cody Sports & Social Club opened in 1948 for the benefit of staff working for the predecessor organisations of QinetiQ, i.e. NGTE (National Gas Turbine Establishment), RAE, DRA, DERA, RDRE.

Over the years, the Club has developed to offer a wide range of sporting activities, including Archery, Bowls, Chess, Darts, Football, Petanque, Pickleball, Pool and Snooker.

Today we are offering membership to those who live or work in the surrounding area, enabling people to take part in the sporting activities and the social activities.
