Our clubhouse is a legacy where members support a non-profit, member-run institution that has been the heartbeat of Farnborough and Fleet since 1948. It’s the most affordable way to stay active, get social, and feel right at home. Whether you’re here for a family celebration in our function room or a quiet pint overlooking the green, Cody SSC is where local spirit comes to play.

Club History

The Cody Sports & Social Club opened in 1948 for the benefit of staff working for the predecessor organisations of QinetiQ, i.e. NGTE (National Gas Turbine Establishment), RAE, DRA, DERA, RDRE.

Over the years, the Club has developed to offer a wide range of sporting activities, including Archery, Bowls, Chess, Darts, Football, Petanque, Pickleball, Pool and Snooker.

Today we are offering membership to those who live or work in the surrounding area, enabling people to take part in the sporting activities and the social activities.
